About Fernandina Beach Songwriters Festival
A curated celebration of songwriting, storytelling, and community.
The Fernandina Beach Songwriters Festival was founded by Tammy Rogers King, Sean McCarthy, and Alexandra Maddox, three friends brought together by a shared belief in the power of song. Drawing from their collective experience in the music industry, they created a festival centered on the craft of songwriting and the stories behind the music.
Now an annual nonprofit event, the festival brings together acclaimed and emerging songwriters from across the country for an intimate, thoughtfully curated weekend. Through shared stages and collaborative performances, artists and audiences connect in a setting designed for listening, conversation, and discovery.
Rooted in the character of Fernandina Beach and the mission of the Fernandina Songwriters Foundation, the festival extends its impact beyond the stage — supporting music education, scholarships, and community outreach while enriching the cultural life of Amelia Island.
